Post breakfast at the hotel, get ready and embark on an entire day sightseeing tour of Delhi, the capital city of India. Visit some of the beautiful cultural highlights of the city. These may include the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and rickshaw ride through the lively market of Old Delhi, here also explore visually stunning spice markets in Asia, Khari Bawli Spice Market. Later had to Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, President House and India Gate. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Drive to Agra, the former Mughal capital, after breakfast. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Site Agra’s Red Fort also called Agra Fort, the Rusty and Majestic Red-sandstone Fort of Agra Stands on the Banks of the River Yamuna.

Early in the morning visit Taj Mahal, the symbol of love. The Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and a symbol of love. This fleeting contemplation of passion will enthral your heart. To return to your hotel and indulge in a delicious breakfast.

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Abhaneri - Jaipur 
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and head to Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a ghost town made of red sandstone that has been completely preserved. Built as the capital of the Mughal Empire in 1569, Fatehpur Sikri was abandoned when its water supply ran out. 

Drive on to Abhaneri thereafter. Here visit Chand Baori that dates back more than a millennium. It is one of the most exquisite and largest step wells in the world. Chand Baori one was built during the 8th - 9th centuries and it has 3500 narrow steps which descend 20m to the bottom of the well. 

Proceed to Jaipur, is a popular destination in India and the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur also known as Pink City. It was founded in 1727, by King Jai Singh. He planned to shift his capital from Amber to Jaipur to accommodate the growing population and his Royal Palace. Explore Jaipur evening then go back to your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Breakfast 

After breakfast take a guided tour of the Amber Fort, Jal Mahal (Water Palace), City Palace, a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Later visit Jantar Mantar (royal observatory and the largest preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II), Albert Hall and Hawa Mahal (palace of winds). Rest of the time is proposed at leisure. Jaipur is famous for Textiles, Jewellery, Carpets and handicrafts so you can explore the market for shopping in your free time. Stay overnight at Jaipur.

Breakfast

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Jaiour/Delhi Airport to take a flight to Kochi. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and help you with the hotel transfer and check-in. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kochi.

After breakfast, you will proceed for Cochin sightseeing. Your sightseeing will include Fort Kochi beach, The Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue (built in 1568 and magnificently decorated with Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers) and Dutch Palace, which was originally built by the Portuguese. Later, in the 17th century, the Dutch modified it and presented it to the King of Kochi. You can also visit Jew Town, Kerala Folklore Museum and Hill Palace Museum.  

The rest of the day is free at your leisure for market excursions. Visit M.G Road especially famous for spices, clothes, sculptures and jewellery. Overnight at the hotel in Cochin.

Breakfast 

After breakfast, drive to Munnar, en route to visit Cheeyappara waterfalls. Cheeyappara is counted amongst Kerala's most splendid waterfalls. Munnar is an idyllic tourist spot in Kerala and also one of the best hill stations in Kerala. On arrival check in at the hotel and freshen up. Late afternoon visit the Tea Museum and Tea Gardens. Overnight stay in Munnar.

This morning after breakfast you will explore Munnar. Where you visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Attukad Waterfalls, Blossom Park, Pothamedu View Point, Lakkam Waterfalls, Eravikulam National Park witness the rare Nilgiri Tahr mountain goat, which is only found in the Western Ghats and the Nilgiri Hills.

Later visit Anamudi View Point & Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel drive to Thekkady - a naturalist’s paradise of unending chains of hills and spice-scented plantations. It has unspoilt tropical forests and an incredible wealth of animal and plant life. Thekkady is well known for the Periyar National Park and the elephants are the major attractions here. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Today after a delicious breakfast proceed to Thekkady Sightseeing destinations include Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary where you can see wild elephants, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, as MullaPeriyar dam, You can watch martial arts, kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, tribal dance and musical fountain. Evening check-in hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey - Venice of East. Alleppey is one of the popular backwater destinations of India. It is one of the picturesque towns filled with canals, backwaters, beaches and lagoons. Overnight stay in Alleppey.

Post breakfast check in to the houseboat for a water Cruise, which will be a unique experience. No one can go away from Alleppey without taking a cruise along the backwaters in a traditional houseboat. The houseboats are complete with a well-furnished bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are drivers and a cook on board. On the houseboat, you can observe the everyday life of locals and indulge in bird watching. Enjoy dinner on board and stay overnight in the houseboat.

After breakfast this morning, check out of your accommodation and drive to Cochin Airport to take a flight to Delhi in time for your departure to Delhi. When you arrive at Delhi, our agent will help you and take you to your hotel.

After choosing your preferred itinerary, all you have to do to reserve your spot is send a deposit of 20% plus the cost of each booking for the train and airfare. 

Your final payment won't be due until 45 days before the start of your tour. The entire cost must be paid at the time of booking if your reservation is made less than 60 days before the tour begins.

Note: All airline booking and cancellation restrictions apply, and full payment must be made at the time of booking for both domestic and international tickets.

Note: We strongly advise getting travel insurance that includes coverage for disruptions caused by COVID-19. 
You have up to 45 days before the tour begins to cancel, in which case your entire land deposit and any advance payments you paid will be refunded within 21 business days.

Note: Only the land portion of the journey is subject to cancellation and rebooking policies; domestic and international train and airline tickets are not. 

Note: When purchasing tickets for domestic or international travel, you must pay in full at the time of booking. You must also abide by the cancellation, rebooking and booking regulations of the individual airline and rail operators. 

45 days before the tour's commencement date:
Should government travel restrictions force the cancellation of your journey, your deposit and any progress payments will be fully credited towards a future tour with us at no additional cost.

We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that you do not use if you cancel a trip after it has started for any reason. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage.

Any costs resulting from a cancellation or adjustment made between thirty days before the tour start date and the tour end date will be your responsibility and must be paid by you within twenty-four hours of the modification. 

We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that are not used if the tour must be changed or cancelled for any reason other than illness or COVID-19. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage. Any associated costs are your responsibility and must be paid for within a day.

Most visitors need a visa to enter India, except for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan. Tourist visas last for six months but cannot be extended. Nationals of some countries can get a visa on arrival, while others need to apply in advance online. Leaving on a tourist visa means no re-entry within two months, with some exceptions. Businessmen and students can get five-year visas. Certain areas require special permits, and some are off-limits to foreigners.

The purpose of international travel insurance is to go with you and help you make better-informed travel decisions. Travel insurance is mandatory for all travellers and should be taken out before travel and must be purchase from your home country with Sum Insured $50,000 USD to $200,000 USD. Your insurance must cover personal accidents, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with coverage. We also strongly recommend coverage for cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, loss of luggage and personal effects. You must provide your policy number and the insurer's emergency contact 15 days before the tour starts. Without these details, you will not be able to join the trip.

During the tour, you are in charge of all your possessions. The standard weight limit for checked baggage on Indian domestic airlines is 15 kg, while carry-on luggage is 7 kg.

Unfortunately, wheelchair users and anyone with limited mobility cannot now participate in our tours because our cars are not wheelchair accessible. 
Note that this will require a general degree of fitness. Before making a purchase or booking a trip, please speak with your healthcare physician if you have any concerns.

Please be aware that your schedule may be changed, subject to availability, or an equivalent activity may be provided in its place if entry to a site is impacted by modifications to working hours or public holiday closures.

This covers any modifications to your reservation that you request, including but not restricted to those that call for reissuing the Purchase Confirmation or an airline ticket.
Changes: $100.00 per reservation plus any extra fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging or any travel agencies.

In the event that Royal India Tours receives notification of an inaccurate name, there will be a $100.00 booking fee in addition to any additional fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging provider or other travel suppliers.
