A representative from Royal India Tours will meet and help you at the international airport in Delhi before escorting you to your hotel so you can check in. The remainder of the day is free until tomorrow.

Post breakfast at the hotel, get ready and embark on an entire day sightseeing tour of Delhi, the capital city of India. Visit some of the beautiful cultural highlights of the city. These may include the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and rickshaw ride through the lively market of Old Delhi, here also explore visually stunning spice markets in Asia, Khari Bawli Spice Market. Later had to Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, President House and India Gate. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

After breakfast and check out, driven to the Delhi airport according to the timing of the flight to Amritsar. When you arrive at Amritsar Airport, our representative will greet you and help with the hotel transportation. The rest of the day is free for rest or you can explore nearby on your own. 

Breakfast  Domestic Flights 

Visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar, a stunning display of the Sikh faith and traditional lifestyle. Participate in the 24-hour communal feasting celebration known as Langar, and visit Jallianwala Bagh, a historical park where British troops opened fire on a large gathering of unarmed Indians in 1919. 

In the evening, head to the Wagah Border to witness the beating retreat ceremony between India and Pakistan. Spend the night at the hotel.

After breakfast drive to Dharamsala on arrival check in at the hotel and the rest of the day is free for leisure. You can enjoy a walk along the mall road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts. Overnight stay at a hotel in Dharamsala.

After an early breakfast at the hotel we take you to the Dalai Lama Monastery and the Bhagsu Nag Temple and then we visit the Norbulingka Institute which is probably one of the best in the world. The institute has its own temple, museum, meditation hall, one thousand, one hundred and seventy-three statues of Buddha adorn the forty-four feet high temple hall. Night stay will be in Dharamshala hotel.

Breakfast 

Today after breakfast visit Dharamshala. Start with a photo stop at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, then experience a ropeway ride known as the Dharamshala Skyway, which offers stunning aerial views of the beautiful city. On arrival visit the famous McLeodGanj – a beautiful town set amidst majestic hills and lush greenery, with a prominent Tibetan influence. Spend some time exploring Mcleodganj. You can go shopping in the Tibetan market. Overnight stay in Dharamshala. 

Breakfast

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Manali. En route, stop at several famous tourist attractions, including Kullu Shawl Factories, Sundernagar Lake, Mandi, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Devi Temple and Mini Vaishno Devi Temple. Upon arrival at the hotel and checked in and was ready to visit Hadimba Temple, which was constructed in 1553 and is renowned for its beautifully carved entryway. You will also be going to Club House, which is a lively location featuring a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and a restaurant. Spend the night at Manali.

Breakfast

Today after breakfast enjoy a trip to Rohtang Pass, also known as Snow Point and take in the year-round grandeur of snow-capped mountains. Mountain biking, ski riding and snow scootering are available to tourists. Due to the massive glaciers around it, the popular tourist destination Rohtang Pass is closed from January to April. 

During that time, Solang Valley was the site of many visitor activities. Visit Solang Nala, which gets its name from combining the words Solang and Nullah (water stream), on the way back from Rohtang. Back at the hotel in the evening. Spend the night at Manali.

Early in the morning after breakfast drive to Leh around 210 kms which will take a long day starting 04:00 AM to drive towards Leh while Journey and enjoy magnificent views on the way. Late evening Upon arrival check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is free. Night stay at hotel in Leh.

Today after breakfast explore the city of Leh. Here visit Shanti Stupa - the peace seat of Japanese Buddhists, inaugurated by the Dalai Lama and the Hall of Fame War Museum. Next is Ladakh Palace - Built by 16th-century ruler Sengge Namgyal. View of old town, Zanskar mountains and Spituk Gompa (Gokhang). Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we take you for a day excursion to Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable pass in the world at 5600 metres which has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Enjoy the scenic beauty of snow-covered mountains at the top. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Breakfast 

The morning after breakfast drive to Nubra Valley also known as Dumra lies north of Leh. It is accessible over the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at a height of 5359 m. Upon arrival check into the hotel and get ready to visit the popular Samstanling Monastery at Samur. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast get ready to visit Diskit Monastery - the oldest and largest Gompa in Nubra Valley. Also visit Future Buddha - A statue of Lord Buddha. Pass by the Shyok River and arrive at Nubra Valley, known for its pristine natural beauty, stunning lakes, apricot orchards and lovely surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast transfer to Leh, upon arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day is leisure for your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

After breakfast, travel to Pangong Lake – a popular lake in the Ladakh region, as it is situated at high altitude and it keeps changing colour from shades of blue to green. 

The lake acts as an important breeding ground for a variety of birds including several migratory birds. Overnight stay at Pangong.

After breakfast in the morning, proceed to Leh. On arrival visit check into the hotel and take some rest. Later visit Shey Palace – which was used as a summer retreat by the kings of Ladakh, the Indus River, Hemis Gompa and Rancho School. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Post breakfast and check out from the hotel transfer to Leh airport to take a flight for Delhi Airport. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and the Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After choosing your preferred itinerary, all you have to do to reserve your spot is send a deposit of 30% plus the cost of each booking for the train and airfare. 

Your final payment won't be due until sixty days before the start of your tour. The entire cost must be paid at the time of booking if your reservation is made less than sixty days before the tour begins.

Note: All airline booking and cancellation restrictions apply, and full payment must be made at the time of booking for both domestic and international tickets.

Note: We strongly advise getting travel insurance that includes coverage for disruptions caused by COVID-19. 
You have up to 45 days before the tour begins to cancel, in which case your entire land deposit and any advance payments you paid will be refunded within 14 business days.

Note: Only the land portion of the journey is subject to cancellation and rebooking policies; domestic and international train and airline tickets are not. 

Note: When purchasing tickets for domestic or international travel, you must pay in full at the time of booking. You must also abide by the cancellation, rebooking and booking regulations of the individual airline and rail operators. 

45 days before the tour's commencement date:
Should government travel restrictions force the cancellation of your journey, your deposit and any progress payments will be fully credited towards a future tour with us at no additional cost.

We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that you do not use if you cancel a trip after it has started for any reason. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage.

Any costs resulting from a cancellation or adjustment made between thirty days before the tour start date and the tour end date will be your responsibility and must be paid by you within twenty-four hours of the modification. 

We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that are not used if the tour must be changed or cancelled for any reason other than illness or COVID-19. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage. Any associated costs are your responsibility and must be paid for within a day.

There is a required single surcharge for travellers travelling alone.

Please provide valid passport details Either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days before the travel date, customers must provide valid passport details. The reservation may be cancelled if this isn't done. Customers will be in charge of any associated costs and fees in this case.

Most visitors need a visa to enter India, except for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan. Tourist visas last for six months but cannot be extended. Nationals of some countries can get a visa on arrival, while others need to apply in advance online. Leaving on a tourist visa means no re-entry within two months, with some exceptions. Businessmen and students can get five-year visas. Certain areas require special permits, and some are off-limits to foreigners.

The purpose of international travel insurance is to go with you and help you make better-informed travel decisions. Travel insurance is mandatory for all travellers and should be taken out before travel and must be purchase from your home country with Sum Insured $100,000 USD or higher. Your insurance must cover personal accidents, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with coverage. We also strongly recommend coverage for cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, loss of luggage and personal effects. You must provide your policy number and the insurer's emergency contact 15 days before the tour starts. Without these details, you will not be able to join the trip.

During the tour, you are in charge of all your possessions. The standard weight limit for checked baggage on domestic airlines is 15 kg, while carry-on luggage is 7 kg.

Unfortunately, wheelchair users and anyone with limited mobility cannot now participate in our tours because our cars are not wheelchair accessible. 
Note that this will require a general degree of fitness. Before making a purchase or booking a trip, please speak with your healthcare physician if you have any concerns.

Please be aware that your schedule may be changed, subject to availability, or an equivalent activity may be provided in its place if entry to a site is impacted by modifications to working hours or public holiday closures.

This covers any modifications to your reservation that you request, including but not restricted to those that call for reissuing the Purchase Confirmation or an airline ticket.
Changes: $100.00 per reservation plus any extra fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging or any travel agencies.

In the event that Royal India Tours receives notification of an inaccurate name, there will be a $100.00 booking fee in addition to any additional fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging provider or other travel suppliers.
